Patient flies in from Massachusetts

MaxHarvestPlus™ is advised by Dr. Bolton

Patient opts to shave head as it makes it easier to make sites and place grafts increasing the efficiency of the procedure

Immediately after the procedure

Total coverage of the entire hair loss area in under 6 hours

Approximately 12,000 hairs moved

These are the donor strips that were removed and then  to be broken down into individual grafts

Zero detectability of the donor line immediately after surgery

The patient who gets the most hairs in one procedure will always have the better results then the patient who has less hairs moved.  Every aspect of this procedure is more beneficial for the patient then his alternative choices of less hair and less coverage.  Most doctors favor smaller procedures because they are more profitable (repeat procedures) and higher prices for less hair moved.  Most facilities also offer multiple procedures and varied procedures to maximize revenue.  This patient had Dr. Bolton's and his staff's 100% focus and attention.

Maxharvest Plus™

This is our Maxharvest Plus™ the next day.  Patient achieved total coverage  from front through to the crown (back area).  Total procedure time was 6 hours and more then 12,000 hairs were moved.
This is the first completely documented and filmed procedure from start to finish of a case with this many hairs.  No practice in the world is capable of moving this many hairs in one session.  It is questionable if anyone can do it in under 12 hours.  It certainly has not been documented.

This is why people are flying in from around the globe to have Dr. Bolton do their procedure.

These crusts will be clear in 10-12 days

Patient is showering 24 hours after the procedure

No evidence whatsoever of the donor suture line

UPDATE!

Our patient flew in from Connecticut to have a procedure that only is possible with Dr. Bolton.

Patient has significant loss from front through back

Patient offered to let us shave his head to make the process easier to transplant hairs

Donor is excellent

The patient wants the most hair possible.  Dr. Bolton will take as much as possible while still not impacting the donor area in a negative way.

Dr. Bolton yielded three strips.
strip 1 measured 39 cm x .05 cm
strip 2 measured 40 cm x .05 cm
strip 3 measured 41 cm x .05

This will yield over 12,000 hairs!

This entire procedure to cover our patient's head completely from front to back will take approximately 6 hours.  There is nobody in the world able to do this for their patients.  It is truly unique.

UPDATE!

This is the donor area 3 months after the procedure.  The donor area will continue to improve for a year.  Like any scar the way they look over time improves.  The patient is wearing his hair as short as possible without shaving it completely.  A one blade hair cut.  As short as possible.

After 3 months the patient has his hair line restored and the top of his head filled in with hair.

We will show the patient again at the one year mark and you won't see any scar. The way a scar looks after one month is always better then it does after the procedure.  And that healing continues every month for a year.  If the patient doesn't want anyone to see any sign of a scar they can simply grow their hair out a fraction of an inch and nobody will ever see it.

The scar will improve and the hair will continue to fill in.  We will keep you posted with another absolutely incredible result from Dr. Brett Bolton "The Magic Man."

UPDATE! - 3 MONTHS POST-OP!

We tell our patients to not expect anything at all for at least 4 months.

This patient has significant results at 3 months and has at least one year of continued improvement for the next year.  It is pretty amazing to see such an early result.  Even more amazing is when you see people in the news worth millions of dollars who don't get results close to what our patient got at three months.

People are naturally skeptical and ask for the pictures that we don't post.

Here is a picture I would not normally post because the patient does not want to be public with his results.   We can use the back shot because his privacy is assured.  He was thinning from front to back.  Dr. Bolton gave him a presentation of a full head of hair in one procedure.
This patient had a prior procedure elsewhere and Dr. Botlon was able to more then double his results.  Not only did he get a full thick hair line but was also able to totally fill in his bald spot in the crown.

So when a prospective patient says I'd like to see the ones that don't make your site.  Here you go.
We try to be balanced and if you look on our site you will see some results are better then others.  That is because results vary depending on your donor density, budget, and quality of donor hair.  Also the amount of loss you have plays a big part.  The bigger the area to fill the more challenging the case.

UPDATE!

This is a very unfortunate case of a patient having two doctors who were unskilled for his two procedures.  One procedure was done in Poland and the second in England.  This is what everyone fears most.

The good news is that it can be fixed or made much better.  The patient saw over 100 examples of Dr. Bolton's donor area post operative and made the decision to go out of his way to have the best doctor possible help restore him.  Due to his prior bad experiences the patient was not interested in a hair transplant.  He just wanted his scars fixed.  He was kind enough to let us use his story to help others who are going through the trauma of a bad result.

Two prior procedures done in Europe

Dr. Bolton removed totally the top scar and transplanted into the bottom scar.

Dr. Bolton even had enough to put into the hair line just to help it look more natural.

The goal of the surgery was just to excise one scar as that is the limit for one procedure.  Dr. Bolton not only removed the top scar but was able to transplant hairs into the bottom scar and have enough left over to impact the frontal hair line.

If the patient desired, Dr. Bolton, could have also transplanted a good amount of hair into the frontal hair line but due to the patients prior bad experiences he was not interested.

This is an example below of FUE.  It is being hyped as a scarless surgery.  It is not.

Unfortunately, due to the obvious scars of some who have had hair transplants this type of surgery is easily marketed as a "scarless" procedure.  It is not. It is a very limited procedure and results in more scarring then you would get with Dr. Bolton's Maxharvest Plus procedure.

This is what Dr. Botlon's scar, below,  looks like with a shaved head one year later.

This is a patient who went from Norwood 5 to full head of hair in two procedures.

We shaved his head to do his second procedure.  The original scar will be removed and thus only one scar will remain after two surgeries.  With the hair grown in nobody will ever see the scar.

Compare the two areas.  The patient below will be able to yield  approximately 7,000 hairs on his second surgery.  The same amount as his first.  The patient above who had FUE only got approximately 3,000 hairs and will not be able to get that amount again in the same area.  Thus rendering his donor area greatly impacted in a negative way in just one procedure.

This is the amount of loss prior to the procedure

One Year later and the patient elects to do one more

His donor area is not impacted and he has options for the future should he ever want to do more.
The yield of a strip when done properly by the right doctor is far superior then FUE and has much less scarring to the donor area.

This is after almost 2 years and two procedures.  There is total coverage from front to back with excellent density throughout the transplanted area.  This is impossible to get with FUE and it costs much less.

FUE claims that it is non surgical, yet you have to have anesthesia for the duration of the procedure which usually  takes twelve hours per day and may be over two days.  The maximum duration for Dr. Bolton's procedures are typically  5 hours.   The top yield for Dr. Bolton can be 11,000 hairs for the  right patient.  FUE's top yield over 2 days may be 5,000 hairs.  Dr. Bolton's method will leave the donor area pristine.  The FUE will have thousands of pitted pockmarks.

FUE also claims you can go back to work the next day.  They don't tell you that they have to shave the entire donor area to access the follicles leaving you more noticeable the next day.

They claim the FUE is an advanced method that is superior to a strip procedure.  This is not true and the limited amount of examples they provide of men with advanced hair loss should be a warning of its effectiveness.

In fact FUE is more similar to the old plug method in that the removal method is very similar.  The difference is in the size of the instrument to pull out the follicles.  That is it.

If you doubt any of these claims just ask to see 100 donor areas of a FUE doctors work
and then the finished results a year later.  The one procedure results you see Dr. Bolton achieve are impossible to get with FUE.
