UPDATE!

This is Glen coming in for his follow-up at four months after his second procedure!
The strategy on this procedure was to put about 5,000 hairs in the crown and the leftover 2,000 hairs to get more density in the frontal hair line.  Glen will see dramatic improvement for the next year!

GET THE BOLTON EDGE

FUE Doctors: Show me your Final Results

The Bolton Edge is a proprietary approach to hair restoration that is completely unique and allows Dr. Bolton’s patients to have a hair transplant and to receive more hair, get better growth and achieve higher density without  compromising the donor area.  Dr. Bolton will leave a donor scar as fine as a paper's edge. If the patient  grows his hair to a  ¼ inch of hair length will never have an issue with a their donor scar.

Dr. Bolton will hold this technique up to any technique being used today in the world and will guarantee that his method will leave the donor area unscathed and leave much less scarring then the FUE.  FUE is being touted  as a scarless surgery,  when in fact , it leaves many scars and makes it very difficult to do future procedures if needed.    The FUE  method of extraction makes the final outcome  very limited.  That is why you will see so few finished results on websites that offer this method.   Dr. Bolton will stack up his one procedure results against any FUE doctor and he will blow them out of the water.

Donor scars from certain doctors have a stigma attached that is well deserved.  Doctors who offer FUE will show you the worst donor scar photo that they can find and it is usually with a shaved head to make you think their method is superior.   Unfortunately, there are doctors who do bad work in this field, as there are in all fields.  What the FUE doctor is not telling you is that it is possible, with the right doctor, to get a donor scar that can’t be found even with very short hair.   Dr. Bolton can show you on his website over 50 examples of his patients donor area where he lifts up the hair and points to the donor scar.  You probably won’t see the scar that he is trying to show you.  You will not see find a doctor who moves this much hair in one session and leaves  a  donor scar as thin as a paper’s edge. This method will not compromise his patient’s  donor unlike the FUE which devastates the donor area for any future procedure.  FUE extraction is the grandchild of the old plug method of removal.  The only difference between the two is the size of the extraction device.  They both destroy a huge percentage of the donor area and both give minimal results at best.

DR. BOLTON CHALLENGES FUE DOCTORS.

Show your one procedure results of any patients who is a class  3 or greater that you have done a FUE procedure.  Show the donor area with the hair lifted up to show the donor area exposed.  We guarantee that you will see that Dr. Bolton  is able to achieve at least twice the density and in most cases, even  four more times the density without leaving any detectable scars in the donor area. And for much less money.

Ask any doctor no matter what method they offer you  to show 50 plus examples of the donor area post surgery AND don't forget to ask to see the final results.  I would think if you are going to do a hair transplant the focus should be on the final results not only the method of extraction.

Here are Dr. Bolton’s examples and good luck finding the donor scar.

You will see over 50 examples of the Bolton’s Ege on our website.  If this is not enough to convince you that this is a superior procedure we will post another 100 on our site for you to see.  Or better yet, tell us how many you need to see to convince you.

Another Follow-up Comes in Ten Days Post-Op

What the FUE doctor will not show you. This photo is taken immediately after sutures are removed. The donor line is between the crusts.  If we waited to show you this picture in another two months you would see no scar at all.

 Dr.Bolton's FUE Fixed Case

1. Here's an example of an FUE procedure done by another doctor. This is a final result from an FUE.  Notice he got no results of any substance.

2.This is what his donor area looks like from FUE.  Notice the dots from the so called scarless surgery.  This is not an efficient manner of removing hair.  There is too much damage and transection to the follicle and it depletes the donor area making it difficult for the next procedure. This is similar to the old plug removal process.

3.This is doctor Boltons finished work of correcting the FUE.  Note the patient can wear his hair very short and there is no detectable scar.

4.  This is the patients results after just 6 months.  Dr. Bolton was finally able to get this patient a substantial result and he will improve and grow more hair for the next 6 months!

  The Bolton Edge

1.  Ryan coming in for his procedure.

2.  Ryan having his sutures removed 10 days after the procedure.

3.  Ryan wearing his hair short (2 blade) NO DETECTABILITY of a scar.
4. Ryan only 9 months after his procedure. This coverage and density is impossible to achieve with any other method then Dr. Bolton's method. You will never see this density in coverage in one procedure or in multiple procedures with an FUE. Plus the price Ryan paid for a one procedure result is significantly less than an FUE procedure.

UPDATE!

This is Chip now at 14 days.  Keep in mind he shaved the frontal area and he doesn't have the benefit of hair to hide the redness.  Most of his new transplanted hairs are growing, however, most will probably fall out in the next month and then will regrow.  In some cases, transplants may grow from day one and not shed or shock.

Here is Skip just one week after the procedure. Like a lot of our patients he is being a bit over cautious in his washing and shampooing. I just encouraged him to step up tfile://localhost/var/folders/bz/yn63898x6vv271r3t0cmfbh40000gn/T/com.apple.mail.drag-T0x10de23ac0.tmp.AxTWU7/photo.JPGhe washing process and not be so gentle at this point. He should see a lot of improvement in the next couple of days. "Hey Josh, Per our conversation please find pics from 1 week after surgery, taken on Friday, Feb 17th. Less swelling in face, scabs have not started to fall off. No bleeding from stitches, back of head a little achy, no pain at all on top of my head. Best, Skip"

UPDATE!

Meet Skip. He is nice enough to share his story in the hope that others will avoid making the same mistakes he made. Skip will allow us to document his story and share his progress.
This is the result from Skip's first procedure with another doctor who offered to do 4000 grafts for $6,000 dollars. The doctor is a graduate of Yale University and board certified in Plastic Surgery. On paper it looked like a no brainer. Unfortunately, the results were poor with little or no impact in achieving a hair line. Skip has good coverage (no hair loss) in the crown(back) area but was sparse in the frontal area of the scalp. Even after the first procedure there was no noticeable improvement to the hair line. The first doctor tried to impact the frontal area and create a hair line and was not able to do that. The procedure was a failure.

UNFORTUANTELY, MANY OF OUR PATIENTS CAME FROM OTHER DOCTORS IN A REPAIR MODE http://www.greathairtransplants.com/before_after_corrections.html  Click here to see how Dr. Bolton fixed many of our patients by doing more in one procedure then all their combined prior procedures.
Skip has now decided to have a procedure with Dr. Bolton. Dr. Bolton did his "Maxharvest" procedure which is unique in that the maximum amount of donor hair is used for the procedure. This is how Skip looked during the procedure after Dr. Bolton made his recipient sites.
This is Skip immediately after Dr. Bolton finished the procedure and all the grafts are placed into the recipient sites. You will get to watch as Skip will finally get a substantial result like our other patients who went to other doctors and got minimal results. We look forward to watching Skip's progress.

This will be a great outcome the hair is literally on the head where you can see a substantial impact.

7 solid months of improvement to come.  I am very happy for Skip as he was so discouraged from his prior procedure in Beverly Hills.  Way to hang in there Skip.  It is paying off!

Skip already has more hair at 4 months then he did from his last procedure in Beverly Hills.  There is no question in my mind that Skip will finally get a nice result this time.  His trip into our office has definitely paid off and now he has 8 solid months of growth to come.  We are very happy for you Skip.

Here is Skip's story in his own words: Hi Josh, Per our conversation, here is my hair transplant story: Skip, Chicago, IL Age 45 I began to notice my hair receding in my mid 20s. The recession continued through my 30s and I started to wear my hair combed forward in a "ceasar" style to try to hide the recession. I realized at about 38 that the best thing to do was to cut all my hair very short. I decided at age 44 to explore hair transplant surgery. I shopped around online and found a doctor in Beverly Hills that had offered three things that I THOUGHT were important: 1. Best price for highest number of grafts=Cost effective 2. Yale trained surgeon=Qualified 3. Beverly Hills location=Must have a lot of experience, because based in LA. A year later I had a sparse result and a scar line that could be seen on the back of my head. The experience itself and the care that I received were fine. I paid $6000 and got more hair than I had at the start, but I did not look much different and I did not achieve a frontal hairline. I learned several things: 1. I never saw photos of the doctor's previous work=Big Mistake! 2. A Yale education, doesn't equal a lot of hair or an undetectable scar. 3. Best price doesn't always yield best results. I researched Dr Bolton for about 6 months, as I knew at that point that my first precedure was not going to yield the results that I wanted. I spoke to Josh and saw all of the pics on Dr Bolton's website, and I scheduled my procedure for Feb 10, 2012. Attached are 3 pics(jpg 15,16,17) from the day of the surgery and 3 pics from third day (jpg 18,19,20) , Feb 13, 2012. Please note, that I had Dr Bolton shave the area, because he said it would be easier to work on the area. Also, please note that I do have some swelling in my face and under my eyes in the day 3 pic, which is normal. Lastly, please note the pic of the back of my head, as there is NO VISIBLE incision line and I actually have a 9" sucture hidden under my hair. I will be adding pics as I heal.
